Today I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3! I've wanted a smartphone like this for a while, so I'm really excited about finally getting one.

It's way faster than my old phone and the screen looks huge compared to what I'm used to. I've already spent way too much time just playing with all the settings and customization options.

The camera is pretty nice too. I took a bunch of random photos around the house just to test it out, including the picture above.

I also downloaded a few apps and games to try. It's kind of crazy having internet, music, videos, and everything else all in one device.

The battery seems decent so far, although I'll probably end up draining it constantly because I can't stop using it lol.

Anyway, I'm really happy with it. This is probably the coolest gadget I've bought in a long time.

I’ve also been reinstalling all my favorite programs. Photoshop CS3 was the first thing I put on here, obviously lol. Then Firefox, WinRAR, and about a hundred little utilities I forgot I even used.

One weird thing is that the computer is almost silent. My old PC sounded like a vacuum cleaner whenever I turned it on. I got so used to the noise that now I keep checking to make sure this one is actually running.

I also copied over all of my old files and photos from an external drive. It took most of the afternoon, but at least nothing important was lost. I found some screenshots from 2007 that I completely forgot existed. Maybe I’ll post some of them later.

Gaming is way better too. I installed Minecraft and it actually runs smoothly now. No more waiting forever for chunks to load, which is pretty awesome. I’m thinking about trying a few newer games as well, although my internet connection is probably still the weakest part of the setup.

The only problem so far is that I keep opening random programs just because I can. Everything launches instantly and it still feels kind of magical after years of dealing with a slow machine.

Anyway, that’s the big news for today. Hopefully this computer lasts me a long time. If everything goes well, there should be more website updates, more screenshots, and maybe even a few new projects coming soon.
