During the mid 1990's, there were far too many "accessory supply" shops working under the guise of being "professional tuners". As a result, high performance enthusiasts were subjected to the endless problems resulting from the poor workmanship done by these accessory shops.

Realizing the need for a quality and professional import tuner in Southern California, XS Engineering, Inc. was founded. During 1996 we entered the market, at first only building turbochargers, but soon thereafter developing through full project car work. Today, we handle most everything inside and out, from turbo and fuel injection systems to complete engine building.
